Phoenix's Reach 11 Recreation Area spans the entire south and east boarder of the Desert Ridge area. This area provides such amenities as a 90-acre world-class equestrian center, trails for hiking and riding, a picnic area with ramada and grills, desert wildlife and nature areas, drinking fountains and restrooms, and plenty of parking. Cashman Park is located at 22222 N 44th ST and provides 3 ramadas with tables and grills, lighted athletic courts for basketball and volleyball, a shaded playground, drinking fountain and restrooms.
Golfers have lots of nearby options! Within Desert Ridge they can play at the luxurious Wildfire Golf Club at the JW Marriott Desert Ridge Resort & Spa. This club features two 18-hole courses, one designed by Arnold Palmer and the other designed by Nick Faldo. Residents can also look into becoming members of the Paradise Peak West Golf Course.
